Reason for Design Choice: 

The design choice used follows best practice when publishing Facebook posts according to research made. 

As the first step is to gain new likes and followers on the page by convincing the audience, I created the welcome post to give details of the business and why people should subscribe to it.

Therefore, I posted Information about the kind of content that I will be sharing on the page. 

Also, to further encourage the audience to subscribe to the page, I shared special offers in the welcome post. So I will give one of the flagship products to one of the first 100 followers who will be picked from the comment section. I did this to encourage and boost interactions on the page. 

Therefore, the welcome post also gives an avenue for engagements on the post, and I pinned it to the top of the page, so after subsequent posts are made, New users still get to see the welcome post first on the page and can participate in the special offer.

I added the website link to the end of the post to give a call-to-action for users who wish to know more about the business and get more Information that hasn't been shared yet on the page.
